1. Shipping Policy
A. Order Processing Times

Standard Merchandise (Apparel, Accessories, Drinkware):
Most I.G.S. merchandise items are made-to-order or fulfilled via on-demand production partners. Fulfillment and processing generally require 2–7 business days prior to shipment.

Handcrafted Instruments & Custom Equipment:
Custom instruments, bespoke luthiery work, modified hardware, and specialty orders are subject to individualized build schedules and curing times specified in your custom commission agreement.

Demonstrative Displays & Specialty Hardware:
Non-custom physical prototypes or specialty inventory ship within 3–5 business days unless backordered or otherwise noted on the product listing.
B. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and selected carrier service (e.g., Standard Delivery, US Flat Rate, or Expedited).

Estimated transit times apply after fulfillment is complete and do not include initial production periods.

Estimated domestic delivery times within the contiguous United States generally range between 3–8 business days.
C. International Shipping, Customs, Duties & Taxes

We ship internationally to select jurisdictions.

International shipments may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and brokerage fees levied by the destination country once the package reaches your border.

All customs, import duties, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
D. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

Tracking numbers are automatically emailed once your shipping label has been generated and scanned by the carrier.

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, misdelivery, or returned packages resulting from incomplete or incorrect customer-provided addresses.
E. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

Transit Damage: If your item arrives damaged in transit, notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery at contactpierceacoustics@gmail.com with detailed photographs of the package, packing materials, and damaged product.

Stolen/Missing Delivered Packages: If tracking indicates delivery but your package has not arrived, check with neighbors and local carrier personnel before reaching out. We assist in carrier claims but are not directly liable for packages stolen after verified delivery.
2. Refund & Return Policy
A. Made-to-Order Merchandise (I.G.S. Store)
Because I.G.S. apparel, headwear, and lifestyle accessories are printed or manufactured on demand:

Defects and Misprints: We offer full replacements or refunds for items that arrive defective, damaged, or misprinted. Claims must be submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery, accompanied by clear photos showing the defect.

Buyer’s Remorse & Sizing Exchanges: We do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse or incorrect size selections. Detailed size charts are provided on every apparel listing; please consult them carefully before ordering.
B. Custom Luthiery & Bespoke Musical Instruments

Commissioned Instruments: Deposits and payments toward custom-built instruments, custom electronic configurations, proprietary shielding installations, and bespoke luthier commissions are non-refundable once raw materials are allocated or construction begins.

Pre-Delivery Inspection: Custom builds undergo multi-point quality inspection and bench testing prior to shipment. Specific warranty terms or bench adjustments are outlined in your individual commissioning agreement.
C. Digital Goods & Media

Digital downloads, audio files, stems, software presets, and digital media licenses are final sale and non-refundable upon download link generation.
D. Return Process & Refund Execution

Authorized returns must receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from customer support before being shipped back. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receipt and inspection, subject to your financial institution’s processing times.

Unless an error was made on our part (e.g., wrong item or defective goods), original shipping fees are non-refundable and return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Certain items, scale mockups, miniature display models, 3D renderings, prototypes, orthographic schematics, and video mockups displayed on this website are presented strictly for demonstrative, artistic, and conceptual purposes.

Scale models and digital renderings may not represent exact 1:1 physical dimensions, weight, balance, or hardware positioning of production-run or full-scale custom instruments.

Demonstrative models and visual previews may utilize resin, rapid-prototyping materials, synthetic finishes, or digital textures that differ in tactile response, texture, and density from final tonewoods, brass hardware, or production-grade instrument finishes.

Not a Toy:
Scale models, hardware mockups, and demonstrative prototypes contain small parts and functional edges; they are intended for professional, educational, or display purposes only and are not suitable for unsupervised handling by children.

Pierce Acoustics LLC and the I.G.S. brand are committed to conducting business ethically and with uncompromising integrity. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery, forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking in all aspects of our operations and supply chain.

Ethical Sourcing: We require our component manufacturers, timber suppliers, print-on-demand partners, and material distributors to adhere strictly to all applicable local and international labor laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), minimum wage standards, and prohibitions against involuntary servitude.

Responsible Tonewoods & Raw Materials: In instrument production, we strive to source tonewoods, resins, minerals, and metal hardware from reputable vendors who certify sustainable harvesting, environmental compliance (including CITES regulations), and fair worker compensation.

Accountability: Any supplier or contractor found to engage in or tolerate forced labor, abusive employment practices, or modern slavery will face immediate termination of business relationships.

A. Intellectual Property Rights

B. Natural Material & Handcrafted Variations
Wood is an organic, natural material. While we source premium tonewoods, every piece exhibits natural variations in grain structure, figure, density, coloration, and resonance. Minor visual variations between photographs and your delivered instrument or wooden accessory are natural characteristics of custom lutherie and are not considered manufacturing defects.
C. Third-Party Hardware & Components
References on our products or site to third-party manufacturers, pickup winders, hardware designers, or electronic component suppliers (e.g., Seymour Duncan, Guyker, Emerson) are solely for descriptive and compatibility identification purposes. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
D. Third-Party Services & Payment Processors
Payments processed through our store utilize secure third-party payment gateways (such as Shopify Payments, major credit card networks, and cryptocurrency settlement partners). We do not store full payment card details or private keys on our servers. Your transactions are governed by the respective terms and privacy policies of those payment providers.
